Emily is the author of the new book The Power of Meaning: Crafting a Life That Matters. She is a columnist for The New Criterion and an editor at Stanford University’s Hoover Institution. Emily’s writing on psychology, culture and relationships has appeared in The Atlantic, The Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, Time, and other publications.

Emma is the science director of Stanford University’s Center for Compassion and Altruism Research and Education and author of The Happiness Track: How to Apply the Science of Happiness to Accelerate Your Success. She is a Lecturer at Yale College and Co-Director of Yale’s Emotional Intelligence Project.
